What I would improve is a hard question. I guess it would be what I covered I would’ve been more in-depth with a lot of stuff as well. I could’ve also made it more flashy and posted it more towards other people and networked it a little bit more. I think sharing my process and going about what I went through and what goes through when i make and practice my art. This will benefit me with running websites and blogs later in life a lot as i had no idea what i was doing before and as i still don’t much. As i mentioned before i should be able to implement what i learned from this project later in life if say a company needs a blog or more that i can help with.

Feb 3-9 I got around 18 views and about 2 visitors.
Also my most viewed post was my hello everyone post because I shared it with everyone I knew at the time.
Not much everything also seemed very normal IMO.

The coolest way to learn guitar. In my personal opinion this old Ubisoft game that came out in 2014 and has been remastered since. The game is on PC, Mac, PS. And on Xbox. Now what’s so great about this game you say? It’s because you can real time with a electric guitar or acoustic guitar match with the song and eventually learn it with prompts and more. There is even difficulty sliders and more that make it so the more you play. So the more you begin to learn the song the more the song becomes difficult until you overall finish the song entirely. With this also there is multiple was to go about learning your music and getting better at guitar as well.

You can have multiple different settings with your guitar as well. At-Least if it’s an electric you can have different tuners and different sound changes to make it sound more of what you like and even doing free play to just jam without bringing an amp. You can also play with a microphone not being able to do the same stuff with electric but still be able to follow along and play just as well. If you have neither of those and just want to learn guitar disconnected well there is a mode called disconnected.

But with this game you can play up to 1000+ songs that are DLC and there is also a way to import your own songs and find songs that aren’t apart of the DLC as well. It’s an fantastic way to start.

This last two blogs have been about this man Andrew Loomis and this post will be about the books I have of him and sharing his beautiful artwork with y’all as I don’t have much to teach as of now until next time which will be about the different type of perspectives their are and background development. Andrew Loomis himself has a lot of tutorial books as well that I highly recommenced you should check out yourself. As the person writing this I have alot of them and they show how well is art is also, Just like in Drawing the head and hands Just based of of the cover of the first part itself you can see how much the man has been drawing.

The attention to detail is amazing and the shading with the simplistic shapes as in the mans shirt etc coupled with it. You can see an entire body without it being there at-least to my eyes it seems to be. But obviously the book is about drawing heads and hands and with steps and lessons as well which is super in dept as well with starting like the basic circle and cross and then going into the male skeleton.

The next book I have from him is just called Fun with a pencil which is a pretty niifty book overall. which talks about how everything starts with a circle then from there you can make interesting and fun designs seeming off from that. But that’s pretty much it for i have for this blog I’ll see ya next time!

Same with my previous blog posts this one will be about art maybe the one after the next will be about music who knows. Now this lesson is going to be about perspective and the horizon line. Which Andrew Loomis also covers in his book pretty well. Using the simple rules of the horizon line and the line of symmetry or rather the verticial horizon.
You can make a perspective just like as in the image below.

This is an example or a tutorial on how to make an horizon line and making something proportional to that said horizon line. Now this can get very very confusing with adding new people or wanting to change said direction or maybe you even want to them to be closer / take up more of the piece. It gets a little more complicated with the horizon line but the foundation of it still stays put.

This explains it pretty well. and if your asking “well what if I wanted at even more complex angels or maybe I have but it doesn’t look correct”. He explains it pretty well in the “John and Mary problems” which I will send a picture at the end of this. But that’s the basics of perspective at least with characters eventually I will go in-depth with 2 point perceptive, 1 and etc.

It also has at the bottom of the page mistakes that people usually make and get their art looked at weird or are confused how it works. I couldn’t find the old image that showed exactly why it’s important but a good comparision would be like.

Anatomy Practice is very hard to come by and takes a lot of practice and patient to get to a place you would like to settle at. Just using resources can benefit your art style and build an foundation to start with when working on character design or other. Following artist is another good start for this exercise as well. You usually want to have one inspiration and see how they go about their art and take a spin off that and develop your art from said spin (like what I mentioned in the previous blog).

Now starting with the first example for today we will start off with an artist called Andrew Loomis. Who is an well-renowned Illustrator who did art for magazines and more.

I usually try to go down the book and go lesson by lesson but I usually start by using these mannequins trying to learn them myself and going by making my own going by the stuff i learned. Making more dynamic poses but then after that it becomes rather difficult with the next set of mannequins but practicing these you’ll have the human body down to a tea at-least in art wise.

Now you do pretty much the same thing with previous one you do with the more advanced one. And there you go there is obviously more in-depth anatomy stuff for poses or etc but these is the small basics for Rn. Then after words I will do a post on perspective and poses in those perspective. But at-least with human-ish character design just do the things I did last time coupled with this and bada bing bada boom. You’ll develop.

This video is explaining how you develop an art style. Ethan baker is an amazing artist and i highly recommenced following his Instagram which is in the description below in the video if you ever have the time please go check it out! As he mentions there is no thing as originality there is only our tastes that differ from person to person. Which is 100% true or at least I believe so.

An example of this practice put to the test. Would be this showcased here.

I personally think that this way of doing it is sort of difficult as it’s hard to always get three pictures for references shots and for shape and everything as i don’t know two many artists that i wanna follow through with and learn. But it’s still a very good technique and it’s gets you out there to look for more artists!!!.

My name is Jordan or Joyce. I’m 19 and interested in a ton of things that can range from art to crocheting.( though to be fair I haven’t done crocheting a lot). But that’s the extent of everything. I’ll be posting all types of stuff on here as well!! I also have interests in music as well!

Now to go down the lists. Now why I choose this particular blog about my interests was because I had so many I didn’t know what to choose to be completely honest.
